私たちの身の回りには様々な事象が溢れていますが、日々の暮らしの中で、それらについて改めてまなざす機会は決して多くはありません。

ジュエリーにしてみても、なぜ私たちは生きるために必要ではないにも関わらず、身を飾ることをやめないのでしょうか。考えてみれば、いざ言葉にするのは難しいものです。

私は作ることを通じて、周りにあふれる数多くのイメージをもういちど噛み砕き、自分のかたちとして捉え直しながら、装身する道具としてのジュエリーに向き合い続けたいと考えています。

自分なりの装身具をかたちづくるために、クリエイティブなプロセスを通して、「日常生活の多くのシーンを柔らかく細い銀線でつなぐこと」を手段として選んでいます。

I have been fascinated to make jewelry by using mainly silver wires. In our everyday life,  there are so many things happening around us, however we don’t much care about what they are. For instance, when think about jewelry, it is not very easy to explain in words why we wear it.  I would like to carefully look at and re-think of them how it should be. 

Through my creative processes, I am very much interested in connecting many scenes in our ordinary life with soft thin silver wires, in order to establish my own form of jewelry.
